debugging python (programming language) web services serialization mentorshipThis Advanced Python Programming class at City College of San Francisco (CCSF) provides an environment for advanced students to hone skills related to programming and addressing real world problems.
Students in this course learn about resources, practices, and modules used by successful Python programmers; functional and imperative programming in Python; debugging and testing; data serialization and use of persistent stores and web services. Students will master one or two of these concepts through the project by semester's end.
We are looking for mentors to help guide, coach, and facilitate students as they work on a semester-long project of their choosing. See more about this below.

By participating, your company/organization will:
- Create opportunities for your employees to pay it forward, develop mentoring skills, and build connections to the San Francisco community
- Help develop CCSF into a potential future pipeline to your workforce
We are looking for Mentors from your company who are:
- Willing to commit to a number of visits (in-person or virtual) with student(s) during the semester
- Open to sharing feedback and guidance with our student(s)
- Understanding about the value of mentorship
We are looking for mentors to help guide, coach, and facilitate students as they work on a semester-long project of their choosing.
The mentor's role is to guide students, help them build their software development skills, and to enrich their education with the mentor's industry experience and hard-earned wisdom.
Potential mentors might hold job titles as developers, programmers, mid-level or senior managers and have experience with software, databases, website development, Python, and/or software engineering. If this is you, we'd love to hear from you to help create a truly, cohesive and supported educational opportunity for our students.
NOTE** Students are looking for mentors on Riipen, not projects from companies on Riipen.
